CSB acquires NFS membership to enable customers to use 8345 ATMs
New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) South India centric Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) has become a member of the National Financial Switch (NFS), which will enable its customers to use 8,345 ATMs of 24 banks.
The NFS comprises of a national switch to facilitate inter-connectivity between the banks' switches, inter-bank payment gateway for authentication and routing the payment details of various e-commerce transactions, e-government activities etc.
The NFS network connects 8,345 ATMs, which is the largest number of ATMs under a single network in the country. It is run by IDRBT, Hyderabad, an autonomous body established by the Reserve Bank of India.
