Bandh success proves loss of trust in Front Govt : Congress

Kolkata, Mar 16 (UNI) West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee working president Pradip Bhattacharjee today congratulated the people for making the 12-hour Bangla Bandh a "total success".

Alleging that the CPI(M) cadres had attacked the Congress supporters in several places, Mr Bhattacharjee said the people of the state lost their trust in the CPI(M)-led Left Front Government.

He alleged that the CPI(M) cadres attacked the Congress supporters in the city's Behala area and injured two of them.

Mr Bhattacharjee said an AICC delegation was expected to arrive Nandigram in a day or two.
