Three bodies of girl students recovered from river

Shimla, Mar 15 (UNI) The bodies of three girl students, who had gone missing on Tuesday from Jhajhar village of the district after appearing in an examination in Chakli Middle School, were recovered from a small river in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh today.

Police sources said the bodies of the girls, identified as Indra Devi, Veena Devi and Kiran, were recovered from the river after a passerby informed the police.

Sources said the girls had drowned in the river.

The bodies were handed over to their parents after post mortem examination, the sources said, adding that a case had been registered and investigations were on.
