Jaipur, March 15 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said the Opposition is worried over ruling BJP's feel-good budget and wants to prevent its discussion in the House by disrupting proceeding deliberately, making compensation an unnecessary issue.

The Vidhan Sabha was adjourned for the third day in a row over the issue of compensation to rain-hit farmers.

While speaking to reporters here today, Ms Raje said the Opposition is in disarray over the budget proposals and does not want a debate on or hear the replies to it.

Ms Raje said minor declarations and concessions could have been made during the debate today but the Opposition is not ready to hear them and are deliberately disrupting the House.

She said if legislators give the government an estimate of the crop and property losses in their respective constituencies, then more interim relief to farmers could have been provided.

Meanwhile, ministers are touring the affected areas to assess the losses and the state Cabinet team is likely to tour the areas from March 19.

Ms Raje said the government has already made 80 per cent announcements providing interim relief to farmers, according to the eight point demands made by the farmers.

Stating the compensation amounts could not be given on the basis of those given in Punjab and Haryana, Ms Raje the affected areas in these states are much smaller and their revenue higher.

These states have also received a special package from the Centre.
