CPI(ML) slams Buddhadeb for Nandigram firing

Ranchi, Mar 15 (UNI) The CPI(ML) today burnt the effigy of West Bengal Chief Minister BuddhadeB Bhattacharjee and urged the political parties to detach themselves from the Left Front in protest against yesterday's police firing on farmers at Nandigram.

Party's Jharkhand secretary Shubhendu Sen said the act of the West Bengal government smacked of ''anti-democratic and capitalistic'' mindset of the Left Front government.

Urging all the Left parties to condemn the act, Mr Sen said they should detach themselves from the West Bengal government.
