Kolkata, Mar 15 (UNI) The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today asked the CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc to rethink whether they should continue as a Front partner in the wake of the Nandigram incident.

SUCI general secretary Provash Ghosh told newsmen here that the people of the state had lost their faith in the Front government following the killing of 14 people.

He said since the constituents had alleged that they were kept in the dark on all aspects, it was high time that they quit the Front immediately.

" We are demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and constitution of a neutral investigation committee, headed by a sitting judge, to unravel the truth, " he said.
