Akali Dal (Badal) to contest on 10 seats in MCD polls

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) will contest on ten seats in the coming polls to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the SAD Delhi president Avtar Singh Hit today said.

Talking to reporters, Mr Hit and secretary general of the SAD in Delhi, Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Bhogal and its secretary Bhai Rajender Singh said the Bharatiya Janta party had alloted ten seats to the SAD in the MCD polls as part of the BJP-SAD alliance.

Among the wards where SAD (Badal) candidates will contest are Karol Bagh, Punjabi Bagh, Vishnu Garden, Tilak Nagar and Nangal Raya.

Out of the ten seats alloted to SAD, women would contest from four.
