UK Dy HC holds discussion with TN planning commission

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) United Kingdom Deputy High Commissioner Mike Connor today held discussions with Tamil Nadu Planning Commission officials and assured UK's new investments in the state during the 11th Five-Year-Plan.

On a visit to the State Planning Commission, Mr Connor assured that UK would extend help to the state for achieving higher economic growth and environmental protection, an official release here said.

State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman M Naganathan explained the approach and Ms Girija Vaidhiyanathan explained the orgin and activities of the Planning Commission, the release added.
