Precious metals slide to eight-week low

Mumbai, Mar 14 (UNI) Silver fell to a eight-week low and gold by a seven-week low today on weak global advice during the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,075 (19,355), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,235 (9,345), Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,285 (9,395).
