Four alligators, one red jungle fowl in SVZP

Tirupati, Mar 14 (UNI) Addition of four alligators, along with a male red jungle fowl to the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park (SVZP) attracted more visitors to the park here.

Talking to UNI yesterday, Zoo Curator K Chandrasekar Pillai said four alligators and a red jungle fowl had been brought from Indira Gandhi Zooligical Park in Vishakapatnam on Monday. The alligators, were 18 to 24 months old, he added.

''We will feed them properly and house them separately in an old enclosure till they get acclimatised to the conditions'', he said.

The male red jungle fowl brought to the park would be used for mating the lone red fowl in the park, he added.
