New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) The BJP today demanded a judicial or Parliamentary inquiry into the killing of at least four people and injuries to 100 protesters in the Nandigram Special Economic Zone police firing in West Bengal.

Holding WB Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee responsible for inept handling, BJP President Rajnath Singh in a statement said situation seemed to go out of control.

The WB government has no respect for farmers and their sentiments and is resorting to curb the protests through police firing. This administration, he said, has no moral authority to continue. He said a delegation of the BJP would visit the troubled spot to soothe the feelings of the aggrieved families and report back to the party.

He said it was ironic that at a time when people were 'dying disillusioned' of the 'Industralisation Concept' in Nandigram, Mr Bhattacharjee was announcing the Singur- Tata project in the state assembly. "This exposes real face of CPI-M towards farmers", he said.
