Biman terms bandh as anti-educationist

Kolkata, Mar 14 (UNI) Left Front Chairman Biman Bose today described the Congress, Trinamool Congress and the SUCI-sponsored 12-hour and the BJP-sponsored 24-hour statewide bandh on March 16 as 'anti-educationist''.

In a statement here, Mr Bose said the bandh had aggravated the concern of the examinees as well as the guardians since Higher Secondary Examination was supposed to start from that day itself, while ICSE and CBSE examinations would take place on that day.

He said the bandh smacked of the ''anti-educationist'' attitude of the Opposition.
