Banks in AP Dist fix credit target

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 14 (UNI) Banks in this district today decided to lend Rs 3,660 crore for the year 2007-08.

The Annual Credit Plan was released at a meeting of the bankers here.

Of the targeted amount, priority sector will get Rs 3,000 crore.

It was proposed to lend Rs 1,463 crore for crop loans and Rs 258 crore for agricultural term loans.

In the non-farm sector, Rs 526 crore was earmarked for small scale industries.
