Attack on fishemen by Lankan Navy, Dalit Sena stage demo

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) Members of the Tamil Nadu unit of Dalit Sena staged a demonstration in the city to condemn the continuous attack on Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel in the high seas.

Sena state president M Palanimuthu, who led the stir, addressing the protestors, urged the Central and state governments to take suitable action to put an end to the frequent attacks on fishermen by Lankan navy and to ensure protection to lives and properties of fishermen venturing into the sea.
