Ibadat yahi hai, yahi dono iman Ke duniya mein kaam aaye insaan ke insaan' The three-day 86th urs of Haji Shah Warsi -- who said these immortal lines on Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and was a friend of the poor besides being a catalyst of communal harmony -- got underway here today. Devotees from various parts of India are flocking to the shrine at Mirkalan Dayra locality.

The seer was a resident of Deva Sharif in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district but settled here as he liked the climate. He instructed his disciples to ensure that his mausoleum be made only of mud as he was a seer of the poor.
