3 women killed in road accident

Bahraich, Mar 14 (UNI) Three women, of the same family were killed, when a truck overturned and hit them in Civil Lines area here this afternoon.

Police said the truck driver lost control over the wheels, following which the vehicle turned turtle, hitting three pedestrians, who died on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Krishna (60), her daughter-in-law Arti (28) and daughter Shalu (10). Another person was also injured.

The truck driver is absconding.

A case has been registered.
