Neeraj had a damaged heart valve and his family was not in a condition to afford his treatment.
Neeraj's father Tarachand of Jhusi in Allahabad district, alleged he came here to obtain necessary financial help from the ruling Samajwadi Party, but was instead manhandled by the party functionaries.
