NCRB commends Haryana Police record online

Chandigarh, Mar 13 (UNI) The National Crime Records Bureau has commended the Haryana Police Department for achieving an excellent record in the country by making available its 100 per cent data related to crime on the website of Daily Crime Reporting (DCR) system of the Bureau.

Stataing this, a police spokesman said the implementation of web enabled DCR was being monitored by the National Crimes Records Bureau on regular basis.

The information being obtained through DCR could be of immense help in redressing the grievances of the public and have an over view of the crime situation at national level daily.

He said the DCR proforma was being revised to exclusively enter into the system the data pertaining to crime committed against members belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
