Metro services on Indraprastha-Barakhamba disrupted for two hours
New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Metro operations on the Indraprastha -Barakhamba stretch on line 3 of the DMRC were briefly disrupted this morning.
''Metro rail services between Indraprastha and Barakhamba Road stations on Line-3 were affected for two hours today due to a point failure problem at Indraprastha,'' a DMRC spokesperson said.
''The failure occurred at 1032 hours at Indraprastha station.
As a result, trains had to be operated after every 15 minutes instead of every 5 minutes between Indraprastha and Barakhamba Road stations,''the spokesperson said.
The problem was rectified at 1229 hours after which the normal running of trains resumed, he said.
Train operations on Lines 1 and 2 and between Dwarka Sector-9 and Barakhamba Road on Line-3 remained unaffected.
