AP: Rs 3 lakh worth ganja seized from RTC bus

Tirupati, Mar 13: Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Vigilance officials seized ganja worth Rs three lakh from a Tirumala-bound RTC bus at Alipiri checkpost (foot hills of Tirumala) yesterday.

The officials said the ganja weighing three kg stacked in a gunny bag was found during routine check in the Tirupati-Tirumala shuttle bus at Alipiri.

Three persons suspected to be in the illegal transportation were secured and handed over to the excise officials for further investigation, they added.
