3 persons of marriage party killed in accident

Latehar, Mar 13: Three persons of a marriage party were killed and seven others seriously injured when a jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Borsidag village under Chandwa police station in Jharkhand's Latehar district today.

The jeep carrying the marriage party, including the newly-wed couple, was going from the state capital to Palamu when it collided with the truck that left two persons killed on the spot, police said.

The other person succumbed to injury in hospital at Chandwara.

All the injured were admitted to hospital, police said adding the bride and groom received minor injuries.
