Three arrested for cow slaughter

Mandsaur, MP, Mar 12 (UNI) Three more accused have been arrested in connection with large-scale cow slaughter at Pityakhedi village in this district two months back, police said today.

''Mubarik Godia, Anwar Manguda and Fajju Patel were arrested during a raid at Sultanpur in Mandsaur,'' said Superintendent of Police R K Choudhary.

The accused carried a reward of Rs 5,000 each on their head.

Police had registered cases against 64 people in connection with the cow-slaughter case. So far, 58 accused had been nabbed, while six were absconding.
