Six found guilty of murder of municipality chairman

Barasat, Mar 12 (UNI) A Sessions court today found six people guilty of murdering Dum Dum Municipality chairman Sailen Das in 2001.

The court held the six guilty under different sections of the Indian Penal Code and would pronounce the sentence tomorrow.

However, the court acquitted four others in the case.

Former Municipality Chairman and politician Sudhir Bhattacharya were among the six found guilty of murdering Dum Dum Municipality Chairman Sailen Das on August 13, 2001.
