Reddy pays tribute to Burgula Ramakrishna Rao

Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today paid rich tributes to erstwhile Hyderabad state's former Chief Minister Burgula Ramakrishnarao on the eve of his 108th birth anniversary.

Describing him as an outstanding statesman, a great litterateur and a role model, Dr Reddy said he never compromised with values and principles in his long public life.

He also recalled his contribution in various fields, especially for the benefit of the poor and downtrodden in the society.

''As Minister for Education and Revenue and as the Chief Minister of Hyderabad state, later as Governor of Kerala and Uttar Pradesh, Burgula rendered outstanding services to the people of the country,'' Dr Reddy added.
