Ranchi, Mar 12 (UNI) Attacking the Madhu Koda-led UPA government in Jharkhand, the opposition NDA today apprehended that the funds allocated in the budget will be 'misused' as there was 'total political anarchy' in the state.

Moving a cut motion against the third supplementary budget, Mr Ravindra Rai (BJP) said the coalition partners had often given statement over 'mis-functioning' of the government.

The BJP leader said UPA's sustainability hanged in imbalance as their allies have always made anti-government remarks.

Mr Rai also questioned the government's integrity on the claims to spend about Rs 2600 crores in a month whereas about Rs 2400 crores were also not spent in total by the erstwhile government.

He also expressed concern over the meagre allotment of about Rs 113 crores on plan expenditure saying that the money allocated for non-plan expenditure would be 'misused'.

Arguing against the motion, Ravindranath Mahto of JMM said the budget was farmer friendly and would bring improvement in the field of agriculture.

Mr Mahto also stressed upon the need of proper monitoring of the expenditure.

Neal Tirkey of Congress said focus should be given over the Centre sponsered schemes as the the fund allocated by the Centre remained unutilised during the erstwhile NDA government.

Meanwhile, another BJP leader Loknath Mahto said government should take measures to prevent corruption otherwise the fund allocation would be of no use.

However, the debate remained inconclusive till the house was adjourned.
