Isolated rain in parts of AP

Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the last 24 hours even as dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded were Parvathipuram 2 cm, Adilabad and Komarada one each, the Weather Office said here.

Maximum temperatures were above normal at a few places over Rayalaseema and normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The maximum temperature of 40 degree C was recorded at Kadapa and lowest minimum temperature of 16 degree C was recorded at Arogyavaram during the period.

The minimum temperatures fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and changed little over Telangana.

They were below normal at a few places over Rayalaseema and normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana tomorrow. Mainly dry weather would prevail over Rayalaseema.

There was chance of thundershowers in some parts of Hyderabad.

Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 35 and 21 degree C respectively.
