Counting in ZP, PS polls begin; complete result by midnight

Mumbai, Mar 12 (UNI) Counting of votes for Zilla Parishad (ZP) and Panchayat Samiti (PS) elections started at 1200 hrs today at respective places.

The elections to 27 Zilla Parishads and 310 Panchayat Samitis were held yesterday.

Considered 'Mini Assembly' elections, the outcome of the elections will have far reaching impact on the state politics.
