Congress leads in both ZP

Ahmednagar, Mar 12 (UNI) The Congress was leading in both Zilla Parishad and Panchyat Samiti elections in the district.

Out of 75 seats for ZP, Congress bagged 31 seats followed by NCP 22, Shiv Sena 6, BJP 4 and Others 5. Results of the 9 seats are yet to be declared, election officials said.

In the Panchyat Samiti election, the Congress was expected to come as a majority, analysts said.
