CLP to sell Taiwan power station to JV for $ 500 mln

HONG KONG, Mar 12 (Reuters) CLP Holdings Ltd. said it would sell a coal-fired power station at Ho Ping in Taiwan to a joint venture firm, OneEnergy Ltd., for US0 million.

CLP said in a statement OneEnergy will settle US0 million of the purchase in cash with the remainder to be settled by issuing 9,000 new OneEnergy shares to CLP upon completion of the deal.

OneEnergy is an equally owned joint venture between CLP and Mitsubishi Corp .
