BlazeFlash launches MoneyGram's money transfer services

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) BlazeFlash, a leading courier company, today formally announced MoneyGram's money transfer services available to its 290 branches.

For this, Blazeflash has signed up with TradeWings, a principal agent of MoneyGram India. It has already test run this service from March 1.

''The Indian remittance market is the largest in the world and we are excited to be a part of this growing market by offering money transfer services from MoneyGram, a leading global player in the money transfer business,'' Blazeflash Couriers Ltd Chairman-cum-Managing Director S D Aggarwal said.

Under this service, money sent can be received across the network of Trade-wings and its subagent locations including R J Trade-wings and Green Channel, a company statement said.

To receive money via MoneyGram in India, the receiver can simply walk into any MoneyGram agent location, complete a simple Receive Form and show photo identification to receive funds in as little as 10 minutes after the transaction is sent, subject to the agent availability and hours of operation, it added.

The service is approved by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and has been available in India for more than eight years.

The RBI has guidelines on the transaction value and number of remittance. An individual cannot receive more than 12 remittances in a year, nor can a single transaction be in excess of 2,500 dollars.
