Adhunik Metaliks subsidiary bags Rs 53 cr order

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) Iron and steel products maker Adhunik Metaliks Ltd today said its wholly-owned subsidiary has bagged a Rs 53 crore order from India Wireless Technology Ltd.

The order received by Unistar Galvanisers&Fabricators Pvt Ltd is for the manufacture and supply of complete telecommunication towers and is sufficient for its four-five month of production facility, the company said.

Unistar was acquired by the company in July 2006.

The company is on a capex programme to increase its production capacities and balancing of equipment at its facilities at Kolkata and Jamshedpur plant. The programme entails a production target of 3,500 MT per month of transmission towers by December.

Unistar has one manufacturing unit in Kolkata and another in Jamshedpur.

Its products include transmission towers, galvanised substation/switchyard structures, ground based and roof top galvanized telecom towers, welded structure/masts for Railways and lighting masts, pipe structures, foundation bolts and accessories.
