Temperature falls in capital after sudden rains

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) A brief spell of rain late in the evening gave the people of the capital some respite from the rising temperatures.

Starting around 2015hrs, the rain continued for about two hours.

Met department officials also predicted that the cloudy weather would continue for another 48 hours. There could be intermittent spells of rains accompanied by either thunderstorms or hailstorms in this period, they added.

The sudden rains made the weather chilly, forcing people to again take out their woollens.
