Sikkim police jawan kills 5 colleagues, injures one

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) Five Sikkim Police personnel were shot dead and one was injured by their own colleague near Golcha cinema in Daryaganj area here early today.

The incident occurred at about 0530 hrs, police said.

The Sikkim police personnel were deployed for security of Dena Bank branch in Daryaganj.

The injured has been admitted to LNJP hospital.

The jawan, who fired at his colleagues, identified as Jai Singh Suba, was absconding.

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and investigations are on.
