Notorious criminal held

Mahoba, Mar 11 (UNI) Police here arrested a history-sheeter, carrying a reward of Rs 2,500 on his head.

Superintendent of Police Gyan Singh said acting on a tip-off, cops reached the Dahara Pahad area and nabbed notorious criminal Mazid Khan, who had been absconding since last six years.

Mazid was the prime accused in the murder of a goldsmith in 2001.

Besides, several heinous cases were pending against him.
