Nishabad: Effigies of Big B, director burnt

Tirupati, Mar 11 (UNI) Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) activists today burnt the effigies of Actor Amitabh Bachchan and Director Ram Gopal Varma in protest against their film 'Nishabd,' before the V V Mahal Theatre here.

SJM activists gathered infront of the theatre raising slogans during the screening of the film and demanded the management to halt the show.

They also wanted the Andhra Pradesh Government to ban the movie in the state as it was against Hind tradition and hurt their sentiments.

UNI
