INL to support AIADMK fast on Cauvery

Chennai, Mar 11 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu unit of the Indian National League (INL) today announced its support to the AIADMK's proposed state-wide one day fast on March 18 to condemn the Central and Tamil Nadu Governments for their 'failure' to take steps for the implementation of the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal (CWDT).

In a statement here, INL State President M Basheer Ahamed said being the alliance partner of the AIADMK, the INL congratulated Former Chief Minister and AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa's bold stand on the Cauvery issue and her efforts to protect the rights of Tamil Nadu.
