CPM to organise tribal rally in Udaipur on May 20
Jaipur, Mar 11 (UNI) Following the footsteps of the Sangh Pariwar which organised an Adivasi Sammelan under the banner of Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad, the CPM will hold a tribal rally in Udaipur on May 20.
A decision in this regard was taken by the CPM state secretariat at its meeting here today.
Talking to newspersons, CPM MP and party in charge of the state Human Molla said the rally was proposed to create awareness among the tribals of their rights on forest land.
He said with the passage of the Tribal Amendment Act 2006 by Parliament recently, the tribal people would get legitimate right on the land under their occupation.
Apart form highligting the achievement of the UPA government in passing the Act, the rally was being organised to warn the tribals of the dangers of the politics of communalism propagated by the Sangah Pariwar.
