Rs 4.50 crores earmarked for watershed projects in north Kashmir
Srinagar 10 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has earmarked Rs 4.50 crores for various watershed projects in 15 blocks of Baramulla district, while Rs 6.60 lakhs will be spent on the Kishori Suraksha Yojana in the frontier district of Kupwara.
An official spokesman said Rs 4.50 crores would be spent on the projects in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
Besides, Rs 40 lakhs will be utilized for various soil conservation and crop production system works.
He said an amount of Rs 6.50 lakh would be spent on the Kishori Suraksha Yojana, which would benefit the girls in the age group of 11 to 18 years in Kupwara district.
