Politicisation of bureaucracy root of all problems:Babulal

Ranchi, Mar 10 (UNI) Jharkhand Vikas Morcha president Babulal Marandi today reiterated his demand for President's rule in Jharkhand, saying Jamshedpur MP Sunil Mahto's murder had exposed the 'inefficiency' of the Madhu Koda-led UPA government.

The JVM (D) leader, who had been advocating fresh elections in the state since his resignation from the BJP and Lok Sabha last year, said this government, which had 'dethroned' the erswhile Arjun Munda-led NDA dispensation, was no different.

Referring to the March 4 killing of Mahto, also the JMM general secretary, he wondered how the VIP's security became so vulnerable.

''Politicisation of bureaucracy has led to all sorts of anomalies rendering the ministers more confused,'' he said.

Mr Marandi alleged that politicisation of bureaucracy was the only reason that was preventing the ministers and other public representatives from delivering the goods.

He said Mr Koda's 'inability' to come out with any defined policies had frustrated the common man.

He also admitted that the funds for MPs and MLAs were being 'grossly misused'.

He said he had even brought the matter to the attention of the BJP earlier.
