Indira Swaroop of MP Information is dead

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Mrs Indira Swaroop, former Additional Director (Public Relations) of the Madhya Pradesh Government in New Delhi, died last night.

She was 65.

Mrs Swaroop had undergone a knee replacement surgery which was followed by an operation to remove renal tumour in the bladder.

She had gone into coma early this week.

Mrs Swaroop is survived by her husband, Mr Harihar Swaroop, former Chief of Bureau of the Press Trust of India in New Delhi, two sons and grandchildren.

She was cremated this afternoon. A large number of journalists and her friends attended the funeral.
