Court convicts six people on murder of Cong. leader
Hubli, Mar 10 (UNI) First Additional Sessions Court here has convicted six people of murdering local Congress Leader Honnappa Ganadal.
Judge B Durgappa who heard the case ordered six of the seven accused to undergo life imprisonment, yesterday. The seventh accused, being a minor, is undergoing trial at a different court.
According to prosecution all the seven had murdered Mr Ganadal on July 31, 2004 with deadly weapons, when he had come to settle a problem at his sister's house. They were from a single family and were the neighbours of Mr Ganadal's sister's house.
