Sonia forwards Poojari letter on Cauvery to PM

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi has forwarded the letter of senior Congress MP B Janardhana Poojari concerning the problems faced by Karnataka due to the final orders of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Mrs Gandhi in her reply to Mr Poojari acknowledging his letter on the issue said that she had forwarded the letter to Prime Minister to look into the issue on river water sharing. "I have noted the points you have raised in this regard and am requesting the Prime Minister's office to look into the mater", Mrs Gandhi wrote.
