One computer centre in every district of Bihar : Minister
Patna, Mar 9 (UNI) The Bihar government today said that a fund of Rs 15.91 crore had been released to set up one computer centre each in every district of the state.
Replying to a question of RJD member Dr Bhim Singh in state legislative council, Human Resource Development minister Brishen Patel said that funds had been made available with the concerned agencies to set up one computer centre each in 37 districts while such a centre was already functional in Siwan.
Replying to another question by RJD member Prof Nawal Kishore Yadav, Mr Patel said that exact data of trained teachers in the state were not available with the government.
''The relevant data of trained teachers could be asceratined only after first phase of onging recruitment drive of teachers '' he said adding untrained candidates would be considered if trained ones were not available.
