MLAs of Bishnoi's constituency hail his suspension

Chandigarh, Mar 9 (UNI) Six Congress MLAs of Bhiwani district today hailed the suspension of Bhiwani MP Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, from the Congress.

In a joint statement isssued here, they also demanded immediate resignation of Mr Bishnoi from the Lok Sabha seat as he had lost the trust of the people of his constituency.

''By criticising the Congress leadership for taking political mileage and overlooking the real issues of the public, Mr Bishnoi breached the trust of the people,'' they said.

If Mr Bishnoi wanted to know of the extent of his ''popularity and political worth,'' he should contest Bhiwani seat again after resigning it.

The MLAs who signed the statement were Ranbir Mahendra, Somvir Singh, Dharambir Singh, Ram Kishan Fauji, Shiv Shankar Bhardwaj, Maj Nirpender Singh Sangwan and Amir Chand Makkar.
