Justice V K Bali appointed CAT Chairman

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Mr Justice V K Bali has been appointed as Chairman of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

A retired Chief Justice of Kerala High Court, he assumed his new office yesterday.

As a practising lawyer, he was elevated as a Judge in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana in March 1991. He served as a Judge in Rajasthan High Court before being apointed the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

As a High Court judge, he delivered several landmark judgments on legal issues of public importance.
