Justice Bali New CAT Chairman

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Justice V K Bali who retired as Kerala High Court Chief Justice six weeks ago took over as Chairman of the Central Administrative Tribunal yesterday, officials said today.

''He assumed office as Chairman CAT on 8th March,'' a statement by the Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Ministry said.

As a practising lawyer he was elevated as a Judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court in March 1991.

He served as a Judge in Rajasthan High Court before being elevated as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
