Every MLA should be answered in house: Munda

Ranchi, Mar 9 (UNI) Accusing the Jharkhand government of not shouldering its responsibilty properely during the budget session former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda today said the supplementary questions of the Opposition members remained unanswered.

Mr Munda said that every member of the house had the right to ask supplementary question during the question hour and Speaker owes the responsibilty to get those question answered.

He said proper functioning of the Assembly was necessary in strengthening the democratic practice.

During the question hour today, senior BJP legislator Saryu Rai walked out from the house after his supplementary question was not answered by the government.

The matter was sorted out with the Speaker's intervention.
