DMK women's wing rally demands 33 per cent quota women

Chennai, Mar 9 (UNI) The women's wing of the ruling DMK today took out a rally demanding 33 per cent reservation for women in Legislatures and Parliament.

Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi, General Secretary K Anbazhagan and senior party leaders witnessed the rally at a specially erected dais at Chepauk.

Those who participated in the rally held placards and raised slogans, urging the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre to immediately pass the woman's reservation bill.
