AP Cabinet approves land for auto major

Hyderabad, Mar 9 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today approved allocation of 500 acres of land to MLR Motors that has tied-up with General Motors associated company in China Wooling and Auto major Fiat, for setting up a four-wheeler manufacturing facility in the state.

The project, which would come up in the Auto Park recognised as Special Economic Zone would provide direct employment to 3,000 workers and indirect employment to more than 5,000 people, official sources here said.
