Mumbai, Mar 8 (UNI) Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) today announced its continued commitment to CDMA2000 and plans to extend connectivity to Indian subscribers by leveraging its technically superior and 3G ready infrastructure.
Company CEO Mr Darryl Green in a release said positioning our network capability as a unique differentiator, we are confident of a faster rollout of next generation services as India moves to adopt the new 3G technology.
TTSL's superior 3G compliant infrastructure with an assured migration path to 4G and a no-compromise inbuilt security system will enable Tata Indicom to reap the benefits of its network capabilities, which will be the corner stone of its strategy to achieve 100 million subscribers by 2011, he added.
From crystal clear voice quality, minimal call drops and low electro magnetic radiation, TTSL's customers will be able to experience the advantages of being on Tata Indicom's network,he said.
Tata Teleservices operates in more than 3,100 towns across 20 circles i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Gujarat, Karnataka, New Delhi, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (E), Uttar Pradesh (W), Kolkata, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. The company has a customer base of over 15.5 million, company executives disclosed.
